The Futos

There are so many images . . . I somehow never liked to name the photos I clicked . . . 'images'. Its so not the word. So I decided to name them my own way. I call them, " The Futos ". They can claim so much, memories, emotions and everything that is attached with that moment of clicking.

The first futo clicked with my then new mobile camera. Everytime I see this snap I am reminded of the day I bought for myself a camera phone from my hard earned money . The day I felt so proud of myself.

There's a beauty in everything that exists. And that beauty lies in the eyes of the person. Mumbai which was named seventh dirtiest city has a beautiful side too . . . I am happy to have captured the beauty of 'aamchi' Mumbai.

" a night of song that wrapped itself about you like a shawl. But it warmed more than your body. It warmed your heart...filled it, too, with melody that would last forever. "
Christmas brings so much of spirit, enthusiasm and hope. Its not about caste or religion. Its just the belief that this day is special. I remember the enthu and spirit with which me and my brothers made this snowman. The love we shared that day.

Every night I lay peeping out to this moon from my room's window. All the tears of grief and smiles of satisfaction that came onto my face reflects in those bright shining rays.

Many people say they dont like the digital techniques. The old is gold. I am sure these guys dont know what digital magic is all about. I remember my school days. Clicking snaps was so much of work. Arrange money for the film, for washing then printing and finally for the album. Now I have a 'Digicam'. I take the cam whenever, wherever required, click them, transfer them into my PC and see the futos whenever I feel like. The best part is to delete and reclick the ones that turn out to be bad. Still . . . Old is Gold, huh?
